It was a fun time -- I did find a few puzzle games that were right up my alley.
But, I think that Mr. Lee came away with a lot more. He is more of the gamer than I am -- I just play silly, eye candy/ear candy games (Lumines, Bejeweled Blitz, Little Galaxy, WTF...)
The stand-out game for me at the jam-packed event was Cloud Breaker -- surprise, surprise. It's similar to Lumines, but you can move the blocks around.
Cloud Breaker is a new type of block smashing bliss. A series of deceptively simple puzzles combine to form a frenzied time trial. Mastery takes quick wits and quicker fingers. Created by Axis Sivitz who is the author and sole developer of two ambitious iOS games. He is based out of Boston, MA. READ MOREIt was a great day, but I wished that I could've popped by MICE, the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo, event as well. Too many great events happening this past weekend. It didn't help that I was also OD'd on comics. Next year for sure -- and maybe I'll have a table there? We shall see.
