Happy Friday! Make-Out with Healthy Kimmel or Disease-Ridden Timberlake?

hahaha!

I like how the question becomes progressively disgusting.

So, who would you rather make out with?

Hello! My New Favorite TV Show: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) doing some dispatching.

So I watched it a day later thanks to online streaming because the only time I get to watch anything during the weekdays are at midnight :)

Anyhow, it was super fun, didn't dwell on the dark/sinister, and I got to see my three fave characters: Coulson (Clark Gregg), Hill (Cobie Smulders), and May (Ming-Na Wen).

Looking forward to the next episode.

And now, I wonder what the defunct Wonder Woman TV series in 2011 could've been if it had been in the hands of Joss Whedon instead.

*sigh*

To dream, to hope...

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I might miss out on the premiere tonight -- I've got Muay Thai class. D'oh.

Hopefully, they'll have it available online because this is one of the very few shows that I cannot wait to watch! I can count on my hand the number of TV shows I follow.

Yippee for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. -- please, please don't disappoint!

Mooncakes Galore

Don't know what mooncakes are? Well, they're like thick bricks eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival. I, personally, don't like eating them -- the traditional kind anyway. But, shove some ice cream into it and I'll be all over it :)

For more, check out the video below.

Anyhow, Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

Boston Festival of Indie Games: Cloud Breaker

This past Saturday, Mr. Lee and I checked out the Boston Festival of Indie Games over at the MIT Stratton student center in Cambridge, MA.

It was a fun time -- I did find a few puzzle games that were right up my alley.

But, I think that Mr. Lee came away with a lot more. He is more of the gamer than I am -- I just play silly, eye candy/ear candy games (Lumines, Bejeweled Blitz, Little Galaxy, WTF...)

The stand-out game for me at the jam-packed event was Cloud Breaker -- surprise, surprise. It's similar to Lumines, but you can move the blocks around.
Cloud Breaker is a new type of block smashing bliss. A series of deceptively simple puzzles combine to form a frenzied time trial. Mastery takes quick wits and quicker fingers. Created by Axis Sivitz who is the author and sole developer of two ambitious iOS games. He is based out of Boston, MA. READ MORE
It was a great day, but I wished that I could've popped by MICE, the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo, event as well. Too many great events happening this past weekend. It didn't help that I was also OD'd on comics. Next year for sure -- and maybe I'll have a table there? We shall see.

Fan Undergoes Surgeries to Look Like His Idol Superman

Not quite a whizz in a phone box: Superman fan has 19 surgeries over 16 years to look like his favourite comic book hero
The 35-year-old, from Calamba City, Philippines, has had nose jobs, skin whitening, lip liposuction, jaw realignment, pec implants and even abdominal implants to become a real-life Clarke Kent after falling in love with the TV programme aged five.
He has splashed around 300,000 Pesos (£4,400) on his obsession - a fortune compared to the average 90p hourly wage in the Philippines. Read More

Or he could've just been his own superhero and retained his Filipino heritage.

That was the part that really disturbed me -- that he had to 'whiten' his features.
